How to choose between conversation space and project space
Kamay provides two main creation entry points: Conversation Space and Project Space.
If you want to try an idea quickly, start with Conversation Space. If you already have a clear product, brand, or campaign and need to keep materials for the long term, use Project Space.
How to Choose
| What you want to do | Recommended space |
|---|---|
| Ask a question, generate images or videos, or test a creative direction | Conversation Space |
| Manage materials for one SKU, brand, or campaign over time | Project Space |
| Explore first because your need is still unclear | Conversation Space |
| Reuse the same product info, brand guidelines, or reference materials again and again | Project Space |
Conversation Space
Conversation Space is best for getting started quickly. You can type your request directly, upload files, and let AI help you analyze, generate, or edit content.
Good for:
- First-time Kamay users
- Quick creative testing
- One-off image or video generation
- Exploring a need before turning it into a project
Tip: Files and generated results from Conversation Space can be saved to a project so you can keep managing and reusing them later.

Project Space
Project Space is best for long-term management. You can keep materials, documents, and conversations for the same product, brand, or campaign together in one place.
Good for:
- Managing images, copy, and reference materials for a specific SKU
- Storing brand guidelines, visual assets, and tone requirements
- Continuously generating and organizing campaign materials
- Continuing conversations and creation based on existing project resources
Note: Project Space works best when you already have a clear goal. If you are just testing an idea, start with Conversation Space first.

How They Work Together
A common workflow looks like this:

- Save to project when you want to keep a file or generated result.
- Continue organizing materials, creating folders, and starting new conversations in Project Space.
Note: After you save content to a project, it becomes part of the project resources. The two spaces are not fully synchronized automatically.
