Manage your profile, password, language, theme, and default models
Account Settings is the place to update your own profile and default behavior in Kamay.
What You Can Change
On this page, you can manage:
- Display name
- Avatar if avatar upload is enabled
- Login password
- Interface language
- Reply language
- Light / dark / system theme
- Default conversation, image, and video models
Update Your Profile
You can edit your display name and avatar from the profile area.
- Your email is shown as read-only
- If avatar upload is disabled by configuration, the upload control will not appear
- After saving, the page refreshes your profile information automatically
Change Your Password
If your account uses email and password login, you can open the password dialog and update it.
- Enter your current password
- Enter a new password
- Confirm the new password
Tip: If the two new password fields do not match, you will need to correct them before saving.
If you signed in with a social account and have no password yet, Kamay will guide you to set one first.
Adjust Preferences
You can also set your personal defaults:
- Language changes the interface language and the default response language
- Appearance switches between light, dark, and system mode
- Model Preferences lets you choose the default models for conversation, image generation, and video generation
The model section also lets you reset each model back to the system default.
