API Keys
Create, rename, reveal, and delete your personal API keys
Use API Keys when you need to connect Kamay to other tools or services.
What You Can Do
On this page, you can:
- Create a new API key
- Give the key a name
- Set an expiration time
- Choose permissions for the key
- Reveal the secret key once
- Rename or delete an existing key
Create a Key
Click Create to open the key dialog.
You can set:
- Name
- Expiration: never, 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, or 1 year
- Permissions: choose which resources and actions the key can access
Warning: The full secret is shown only once after creation. Copy it right away.
Manage Existing Keys
The key list shows:
- Key name
- Key prefix
- Permissions
- Creation time
- Expiration time
From the action column, you can:
- Rename a key
- Delete a key
Common Issues
If key creation fails, check these first:
- The name may already be used by another key
- You may have reached the key limit
If you need the secret again after closing the reveal dialog, you must create a new key.
